Many of you may not remember the episode of friends where Chandler was forced to travel to Yemen because he was unable to break up with his nasal voiced girlfriend Janice. Fortunately for you, we haven't forgotten. Well Chandler, and any other Americans in Yemen, it is time to come home. The recent attempted terrorist attack on on US Airliner Northwest Flight 253 has been traced back to the Al-Qaida base in Yemen. Al-Qaida was quick to claim responsibility as it was only a few days ago (Christmas day) when the attack was to take place. The group claims that the act was in retaliation to a recent U.S. operation again the groups Yemen base.
Nigerian born Abdulmutallab (the attempter/would be terrorist) graduated from London University last year. After graduation he was denied his visa... and finding himself in a tight spot (like Chandler) decided his best option was going to Yemen. Now, apprehended by US officials he may be re-thinking that choice. Hope you're having a great holiday Abdulmutallab!!!
