Naturally, the results "indicate a partisan divide" with 63% of Independents questioned feeling the threat, 37% of Democrats, and nearly 70% of Republicans...

All government is a threat to citizens rights, in any country. That's why the founding fathers went to great lengths to create a system of checks and balances and a Constitution. Unfortunately, nobody seems to care about these protections anymore if it gets in the way of their agenda. That's why we have to take all the power back - peacefully in 2010 (the Flush), no promises for 2012.
