A 16 year old Turkish girl was discovered buried under a chicken pen. While the young girls name has not been released, it is believed that she was put to death in an "honor" killing, after having disgraced her family by talking to boys. It gets worse. The autopsy results show that there was a significant amount of soil in her lungs and stomach and no narcotics in her system or bruises on her body, indicating that she was buried alive while completely conscious.
The article explains that a family council was held and she was sentenced by her Grandmother, Father and Mother. All three of whom are in jail awaiting trial.
