Paterson Runs For Governor?

Gov. David Paterson (New York) announced his plans to run for Governor. The announcement was greeted by golf claps and wheelchair wheel squeaks from his mostly senior aged audience.

The article explained that Paterson kept saying things loudly and with passion hoping to inspire those in attendance, but the handful of people who showed up would just silently nod and then adjust the knitted afghans that were covering their legs.

Those working with Paterson on his campaign are saying that the low turnout was staged in order to give Paterson the whole grassroots tone.


So... yeah.

Very sad. But ultimately "Oh really?!"
