People Hate Google!


We mentioned earlier that Google would be rolling out their own social networking platform , which means more status updates/away messages/places to sound clever...

But according to TruthZone, a company that specializes in the brutal truth about people, After spending 30 minutes trying to think of a funny facebook status, 94% of the average persons "daily wit" is completely tapped out. No energy for Google.

But that's not the main reason people are upset about Google's new social networking application "Google Buzz". Apparently it automatically takes your Gmail contacts and makes them visable to all of your other gmail contacts. To give an example: One blogger spoke with the LA Times and said that,
"I use my private Gmail account to e-mail my boyfriend and my mother. There's a BIG drop-off between them and my other 'most frequent' contacts. You know who my third most frequent contact is? My abusive ex-husband."

So, obviously not the best thing. Google claims it is working on the privacy problem, but we still think it's a good idea to check your gmail privacy settings. That's what we'll be doing.
