After a quick wikipedia search we learned the following things:
1. Karl Marx = most famous socialist (author of The Communist Manifesto)
2. Main Goal of Socialism is to shrink the gap between the rich and the poor
3. Gives government more control over things like education, healthcare, hygeine, the remote, and your facebook status
To some extent we're serious. So with all that said, yeah, 78% of Republican Leaders think that Obama is a socialist. Obama has been plagued with that title since his election but it is a suprise how high the percentage is...

Later on the article, they said they polled 2000 republicans and 67% said that Obama is a socialist! That's what I was thinking when I read this post- many if not most republicans feel that he's a socialist... my parents are some of them... I'm leaning in that direction too; healthcare "reform" being an example of that.
