Scientist have taken a very very very small step towards uncovering the technology that could make invisibility cloaks a reality.
We're not sure if we understand the article, but basically researchers are saying that they were able to make a bump of gold invisible... at nearly visable infrared frequencies.

Actually, to be honest, we don't get it. So we're not sure how to explain it to you. You can read about it here, then tell us what it means.
This is a total hoax. The size of the gold they made invisible at its thickest was comparable to the width of a strand of hair. On its own, it was already invisible! Someone is trying to justify their funding.
