Senator Ashburn Explains Drunk Driving Situation; Says "He's Gay"

Yes, well, after getting caught breaking the law (ie. driving drunk after leaving a nightclub) the Senator has decided to apologize for driving drunk be truthful about the his sexual preferences.

"I am gay ... those are the words that have been so difficult for me for so long" said the Senator to a local radio station,"The best way to handle that is to be truthful and to say to my constituents and all who care that I am gay"

Soo.... but what about how you were drinking and driving/breaking the law? What does that have to do with being gay?
