British scientists from University College London found they could differentiate brain activity linked to different memories and thereby identify thought patterns by using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI).So basically they know where in your brain certain memories are stored, so depending on what portion of your brain is active scientist can determine (using an fMRI) what memory you are currently thinking about.
Pretty sweet, and it's probably only the beginning!
Now the question is: Does Bella's 'sheild' protect her from from fMRI's?
