This is obviously not a picture of our face, but we've decided that this is probably the most disgusting thing that we have ever seen.
But Gwen, Where is this cold sore fear coming from?
Yesterday morning we woke up with a tingling on our lips, we didn't think very much of it, (the air is very dry out here, we are used to humid climates so our skin is always being weird)
This morning...the same tingly feeling PLUS our lips are looking a little swollen. (that's what she said)
Anyway, no, we won't tolerate the HSV-1 virus making itself manifest on our face.
In the life threatening event that we do have a cold sore, what's the best remedy? Short of cutting off our lips and ultimately our head?

REMEDY - put as MUCH chapstick on as you can. Or as our friend (mom) has said you really have to use campofeneek (spelling)

Haha. Yes, I got "campofeneek", that is the funniest spelling of that, that I've ever seen. Especially from a Harvard student. Also, yeah, it might not be a cold sore, but don't uncross your fingers until I know for sure!
ReplyDeleteAs a person who gets cold sores, I am offended by this post. With that said, L-Lysine is the best, it's a natural supplement you take and fights against cold sores. Also, Abreiva is good. :o)
