 Some guy we've/you've never heard of Gerald DeGerolamo, age 65 of NYC,  reportedly responded to a craigslist ad for an engagement ring and in the process of trying to purchase it, claims he was beaten up and maced.

Because of his mob ties, and recent conviction in a multimillion-dollar armored-car heist the police don't believe him.
