Seems like the Apple execs were correct. A few months ago when they unveiled the name "iPad" for their much anticipated tablet, Apply employees projected that the bad press over the name would die down, and ultimately people would be happy to have such a cool product.
Bloomberg.com is reporting that Apple has provided much more than that. "Apple Inc.’s iPad touch-screen tablet is a winning product that threatens to replace laptops as the dominant format for personal computers", says Bloomberg.com.
While the article does admit that the iPad has it's limitations it says that, "If you’re mainly a Web surfer, note-taker, social- networker and e-mailer, and a consumer of photos, videos, books, periodicals and music -- this could be for you."
We had pretty much forgotten about the iPad but after reading this review, we may want one again.
What about you?
ps. Great PR placement for Apple.
