A "Social Break" Can Kill You; BYU Reports

AHH!!

This is terrible news for us. Remember this, well apparently, according to Brigham Young University, that type of thing can kill you.

The article reports that shunning your friends and other social relationships is just as damaging as smoking a pack of cigarettes a day! It mentions that a person needs friends to "buffer negative or stressful events in life" and that without that type of assistance a person is more likely to get involved in "risk-taking behavior".

So scary.

Do you agree with this article? Do your friends help you or hurt you?

We need to know!

ps. The article makes sure to clarify that these results were found BEFORE facebook was popular. So... facebook is still dead, FYI.
