McDonald's Out, Subway IN

The Wall Street Journal is reporting that sandwich shop Subway has surpassed McDonald's as the worlds largest fast food chain. At the end of 2010 Subway had 33,749 "restaurants" while McDonald's "only" had 32,737 "restaurants". Here YogueIN has used intentional quotation marks around the word "restaurant".

Both chains plan on increasing their international presense by expanding more in Asia, including India.

Punjabi Burgers!

Ps. We will only ever go to drive through Subways. Also, read about how the $5 footlong promotion brought the success, but actually that's all it said, so you don't really need to click here
