We were just having some thoughts about the movie Friday Night Lights, and even though it's an old movie, it's still able to make us mad. Why did they make us watch this movie and love these players just to see them lose? Like, at the very end of the movie there are these words that come up on the screen that say, "The next season they went on to be undefeated and it was great". What about that season? Why couldn't we watch that? Not to mention, all of the seniors... We think 1 out of the 4 of 5 of them went on to play football, and he played at junior college. And yeah whatever that's great but it just makes us mad. PLUS the scene where Booby Miles cries to his uncle in the car, is one of the saddest moments in movie history, and they never do anything to help us feel better about it.
We're just so mad.
ps. It's a really good part when the one player who doesn't talk the whole movie starts yelling at his teammates.
