Oh my goodness.
When we first saw this section on the HP we knew it was ridiculous, but then we looked a little further into it, and these are the headlines on this site:
(Keep in mind, these are REAL 'headlines'... so like the breaking news for teenagers)
1. Quick Poll: What would you do if you found a pot of gold?
2. Top 10 Cutest Miley and Liam Moments
3. Why I chose him for my first dance
4. 14 Year Old Buys Her Own Home For 12,000 dollars (actually that's pretty cool)
5. This Guy Showers Every Time He Sees His Girlfriend --- For Her Safety
!!!!!
....
...
actually, we're not sure how it happened, but we've just decided we might start getting our news exclusively from Huffington Post Teen, check it out: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/teen/

Condi For Vice President?
![]() |
| image: moonbattery.com |
The Washington Times is reporting that Condoleezza Rice is positioning herself to be added to the republican ticket for 2012. Apparently, she is going to fill the missing foreign policy piece among the candidates.
This is exciting news, because we really like Condoleezza Rice, but this authors enthusiasm and food analogies are making us want to be against the whole idea.
Why is that?

We're Supposed To Be Writing Something Else...
We're supposed to be writing something else, but we came across this article, and feel like it's worth the read.
It's about Mormons and politics and blah blah blah.
That has been in the news everywhere, and by news I mean posted on every single persons Facebook page...
Check it out: here
Black, Woman, Mormon, three strikes you're out!

It's about Mormons and politics and blah blah blah.
That has been in the news everywhere, and by news I mean posted on every single persons Facebook page...
Check it out: here
In a Gallup survey, 5 percent of adults said they wouldn’t vote for their party’s presidential nominee if he were black. Six percent said they wouldn’t vote for a woman, 7 percent said they wouldn’t vote for a Catholic, 9 percent said they wouldn’t vote for a Jew, and 10 percent said they wouldn’t vote for a Hispanic. But 22 percent said they wouldn’t vote for a Mormon.

VICTORY!!! Al Qaeda's Second In Command Killed; Go USA!
Here's a clip from a recent New York Times article:
An American official said that the drone strike killed Atiyah Abd al-Rahman, a Libyan who in the last year had taken over as Al Qaeda’s top operational planner. Mr. Rahman was in frequent contact with Bin Laden in the months before the terrorist leader was killed on May 2 by a Navy Seals team, intelligence officials have said.

Oh Hey Google+... Sorry...
Apparently people don't really feel like using Google+. This article explains that after an initial "ahhh we want to be trendsetters lets sign up for Google+" people are now over it.
The average Google+ users spends 5 minutes on the site compared to Facebook's average users who spend 34 years on that site.
Do you have an Google+ account? What are your thoughts?

Vogue Italy Creates a Black And Curvy Section; Essence Magazines Flips Out
We were looking at pictures on The Satorialist's website (aka hipster.com aka not really but we wonder if there is a hipster.com -- we just checked and there is but it's not what it should be...)
Anyway, we just found out the fashion magazine Vogue has a curvy and a black section. Being both curvy and black and semi-proficient in Italian, it has become our new life's ambition to be on the cover of either one of these magazines. See ya later grad school, we've got bigger fish to fry! (W.P.J)
ps. We don't know if Essence is mad but seeing as they kind of had the monopoly on the market, and actually since this is an Italian magazine they still do so "it's all good... nothin' wrong with that stuff" (name that quote).

Oslo, Norway Bombing
We used to work for a PR firm that represented Norway as a client, so we wonder what's happening back at the office with regards to the recent bombing.
Here is an article that has pictures and goes into the detail (not really detail, cause it does not seem like the officials know very much) about the suspect, death toll, and damage to the city.
One thing that is interesting is that it says that this is the worst violence that Norway has seen since WWII.
Our question would be: Of all places to start something, why Norway?
Heat In The Air; Poop In The Water
The eastern United States is having a rough time right now. Not only are the temperatures in most of the major cities (Boston, Philly, Baltimore, New York etc) sprinting past the 100 degree mark, now New York papers are reporting that millions of gallons of raw sewage have been released into the Hudson River (sick).
So on the one hand the people are thinking "I'm so hot and I've got to cool off..." and on the other hand their thinking "I'll die before I

Street Sightings; New Column
YogueIN is pleased to announce the addition of a new column: Street Sightings. With this column, YogueIN hopes to share with its readers the everyday things that happen in downtown Salt Lake, most specifically, "The Avenue" portion of downtown. This column will not replace the "Seen & Heard" portion of the site, but will rather add a more local feel, as many Seen and Heard pieces take place in cities up and down the East Coast.
We hope you enjoy the new column.

YogueIN Prediction: Bin Laden Situation Creates New Excuse/Joke For World To Use
Haha actually this can be used in so many ways, here are some examples:
"Hey are you still dating that guy?"
"Ugh, No! I totally buried him at sea!" ---translation--- "Yeah, I text him everyday and look at all his fb pics before I go to bed but he won't talk to me and I hate my life"
"Hey! You look great! You look like you lost 10 lbs!"
"Yeah buried those 10 lbs at sea! Booyah!!" ----translation---- "Yeah I'm wearing spanx... . . "
"Hey, are you and Jessica friends again?"
"Omg! Yeah! That fight is totally buried at sea!"----translation---- "I hate her."
So as you can see, lots of ways to use the line "buried at sea" and people will definitely know what you really mean.
xoxo
